The CCH Bed Step mounts to the metal tubing that frames the pantry cabinetry.  Installation requires drilling holes through the metal tubing to securely bolt the step to the Revel cabinet frame.  You will need a drill, a 3/16" metal drill bit, and a vacuum to clean up the metal shavings.  See the CCH Bed Step Installation Instructions.
 
Dimensions: 10.25" wide, 1.5" thick, and protrudes 2.25" from the existing Revel cabinet.  
 
Take a closer look at how the CCH Bed Step utilizes 2.5" metal brackets to mount to the Revel cabinetry, allowing you to create a sturdy step to help you get in and out of bed more easily.  The lower face panel of the Revel cabinet is still able to be removed after installation.
